Established in September 2003, Kulanu, (“All Together”), is a fun, stimulating, evening Jewish education program for teens, grades 8-12, from Greater Stamford and surrounding areas. Kulanu creates a pluralistic, vibrant community for Jewish youth by combining learning and making social connections. Studying as equals, our students have the opportunity to learn, explore, and deepen their Jewish identity. Fun and learning go hand in hand, especially when Kulanu becomes “the place to be!” Class choices include interactive discussions, Jewish perspectives on current issues, finding personal relevance in text study, art, Klezmer music, and much more. As students progress through their high school years, Kulanu provides intellectual and social foundation. Kulanu emphasizes respect for Jewish diversity and focuses on the connections between teens and the local Jewish community, individual congregations and Israel.
Kulanu is a division of the United Jewish Federation of Greater Stamford, New Canaan and Darien.
